Tackle wicked problems, engage, and transform
Participants will explore the many facets of strategic leadership by first learning how to challenge the prevailing view without provoking outrage and cynicism. Strategic leaders are people who use both ‘personal’ and ‘positional’ power along with the know-how and confidence to tackle ‘wicked problems.’ Such problems seem incomprehensible, and solutions, while seeming uncertain, can transform the way one does business.
This training program will help participants build confidence in their ability to engage as well as be authoritative as needed, be honest and open about information, create multiple paths for raising and testing ideas, take time to reflect, and utilize leadership development as an ongoing practice. By learning to bring their whole self to work every day, a focus on transformation rather than on simple fixes can become a reality.
