  • Facilitate common interests, consensus, and build upon small agreements with the team.
  • Step up and volunteer as often as possible for tough, intense projects.
  • Speak well of others; market their accomplishments too.
  • Apply basic principles of Dale Carnegie’s, “Make Friends and Influence People.”
  • Successfully influence change by repetitively raising ideas for improvement.
  • Establish strategic alliances with people in other work areas- be helpful at every turn.
